What is Drosera?
Drosera is the security automation layer for operators and protocols. xIt was created to address the growing need for reliable, trustless security infrastructure in DeFi, allowing protocols to detect suspicious behavior, prevent exploits, and mitigate financial losses in real time.
At its core, Drosera introduces Traps - smart contracts that gather on-chain data and perform analysis to identify specific conditions or risks. When triggered, the operators running the trap (decentralized nodes) come to consensus on the trigger and then submit a claim on-chain to perform the trap’s predefined response function, such as pausing a contract, selling a token, or executing a DAO referendum after a passing vote. Seed Nodes help maintain the network by hosting Traps and supporting the onboarding of Operators.

How to Run It with a High Chance of Earning Rewards
Step 1: Purchase a Node
- Go to >> nodes.garden/drosera
- Click Purchase — the cost is $11.90
Wait for the node to be deployed (this may take up to 72 hours).
Step 2: Access Your Private Key
- Navigate to the Nodes section
- Find your newly purchased node and locate the private key in the blurred area
- Copy the private key and use it to log in at app.drosera.io
Step 3: Connect to the Hoodi Chain
- Visit Chainlist
- Search for Hoodi and connect the correct network to your wallet. It is important to use Hoodi instead of Holesky

Step 4: Wait
- Wait 15–20 minutes for the network to process the actions.
Step 5: Opt-In
- Click the Opt In button.
- Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
Step 6: Dashboard Update
- Your operator status will appear in the dashboard within 5–10 minutes.
